i photographed kaia and her parents in their warm, cozy and sweet golden hill cottage on november 21- which just happens to be the day that kaia was due to be born. instead, she graced this world with her birth on september 17. kaia's early arrival is the reason that i was brought into this family's life- she spent the first 2 months of her life in the NICU where i work and i was blessed to care for her and become friends with her momma and pappa! moments such as these are the reason that my job means the world to me....

be gentle with yourself. you are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

i feel so honored to capture these perfect moments of this stunning family. jill is the grandma of this sweet six day old baby and the mother of this breathtaking mamma. i work with jill in the NICU. she is kind, patient, honest, warm, loving, understanding, sweet and caring. i am so lucky to have her in my life. also joining me on this photo shoot was my super talented friend adam bohannon.

i was honored to be a bridesmaid in my dear friend kate's wedding. there were a lot of very meaningful jewish traditions woven into the ceremony. kate and michael's fingerprints were all over this spectacular weekend : )

Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.

spending the afternoon with the hays family was an absolute blast! having a large family is a dream of mine....can you imagine the happiness multiplied once all of these beautiful children has their own family?!?!?!?

i have the best job in the whole world. i was able to care for the terrell family in the NICU 18 months ago when kalei was so vulnerable and fragile. she has grown into a beautiful and sweet soul : ) also thank you to my good friend adam for taking some great shots as well!
